There's just something about holding a memory in your hands--about having a tangible keepsake to remember your wedding memories by. But more than that, I love creating imagery that becomes a family heirloom for future generations to cherish.

Time for me to finally leave the states and capture my first destination wedding... in Turks and Caicos! It was simply magical and breathtaking.
2024
To my surprise, my business was voted as Jackson's Best Wedding Photographer! I felt absolutely blown away by everyone's support!
2023
Finally, 2022 was the year I became the bride. After experiencing my own wedding day, my heart for serving my own brides grew immensely. After tying our knot, we bought our first home!
2022
I began second shooting a ton for other photographers to gain as much experience, then I captured my first wedding. I knew the wedding industry was where I wanted to be, but there is nothing like the feeling of capturing your own first wedding.
2020
I officially started my business and dove head first into education that allowed me to fasttrack my growth and skills.
2018
My husband and life partner. I truly couldn’t do this without his unwavering support and love. He was by my side from the start, witnessing my business and confidence grow.
My ever-encouraging supporter. From the very beginning, Mom has been my most dedicated cheerleader, even lending a hand at weddings and sessions.
Our close-knit community of photographers has blossomed into some of the most cherished friendships. We prioritize community over competition.
Creativity has consistently served as a means for me to express myself. I have been playing since I was 13 years old. My mom never had to worry about encouraging me to practice music; rather, she struggled to get me to stop! I absolutely loved it! Some of my favorite pieces to play are from the Pride and Prejudice soundtrack.
James invited me to his family's fish fry. Before heading to their cabin, we took a stroll around his family's property. Everything seemed normal, so I had no idea what he had in store! As we reached the edge of the property and turned to return, I noticed a beech tree still adorned with its autumn leaves. It was stunning, and I paused to snap a picture. When James asked if I truly liked the tree, I enthusiastically replied that it was gorgeous!
As we moved to the other side of the tree, I continued to admire its beauty until I caught James gazing at me. I asked, “What?” He smirked and admitted, “I’m nervous...” I was still clueless and asked him why. He laughed and said, “Rachel, look at the tree again.”
“MARRY ME?” My jaw dropped in disbelief! I was completely taken aback since I thought I wouldn’t experience this moment for another year or two! It felt surreal that I was about to get engaged to the most incredible man I’ve ever known.James knelt down, poured his heart out, and asked me to marry him. With tears streaming down our faces, I, of course, said yes! Before we left to share the news with our families, I carved “Yes!” into the tree beneath his proposal.
Our plan is to continue this tradition by engraving our names, along with those of our future children and grandchildren, into the tree for generations to come.
My day begins with a cup of coffee with hazelnut creamer, all while enjoying episodes of Friends in the background and snuggling up next to our kitty, Stella.
I’ve always had a passion for photography. Even as a child, I would often say, “Just one more picture!” and that remains unchanged to this day!
I love getting inspired by home renovation videos and decorating ideas by Joanna Gains. She’s one of my favorite designers! It’s so much fun getting to renovate your own home with ideas that you saved on a Pinterest board years ago .
According to the enneagram, I am a type 6x7, which means I am a homebody who also loves a little bit of traveling too. Engaging with others in a personable way is very important to me.
We have a tabby cat named Stella with the biggest & sweetest personality. She loves to talk to you and watch the birds from her favorite spot on the windowsill.
My wedding was a day that went by in a blink of an eye and she was able to catch everything with just a flash of a camera. I would choose her again over anyone else. Not only do you get to have someone there to capture your special day, but you also have someone there who is a friend that you can put your trust in entirely with capturing the intimate details of your special occasion.

If anyone needs a photographer, Rachel is your girl! I will be using her again and again. She is the best at her job and no two pictures are the same. If I could, I’d give her an infinite rating!
- Katelyn Choate
She takes her time while still making you feel special. Most of all, she makes you feel so so comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend Rachel on any and every occasion. If I had to do it over again and knew her during my wedding, she would have 100% been our wedding photographer also. Book with her and you will not be disappointed!

I felt like I knew her already in the first 5 minutes of us meeting! I had so much fun during our shoot for my senior year at UTM! She makes it so easy cheering you on and giving you poses the whole time! She’s so great to work with on any preferences you may have as well! I loved all my pictures, and my friends she did as well! Highly recommend, she’s amazing!!!
This guide shares helpful advice for parents handling lively kids during family photoshoots. I highlight the importance of keeping things real and enjoyable. I suggest embracing the natural joy and goofiness of your family while also offering tips like adding movement and talking to your children about the shoot beforehand to ease any nerves. By passing on these pointers and prioritizing the creation of special memories, I stress the significance of capturing genuine family moments. My goal is to assist parents in smoothly managing photoshoots while preserving precious memories for the future.
Rachel is 110% devoted to her clients. She photographed both our engagement and wedding, and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. From her photographs, personality, scheduling, to her overall work, she's amazing and very easy to work with! One of her main priorities is to make sure you're comfortable with everything!
